Reporting into the Workforce Supervisor, the Mobilisation Coordinator will play a key role in supporting KBSS's Operations function through the blue collar workforce mobilisation. This role is to coordinate and manage the end to end process of mobilisation across multiple projects.
This position is to cover maternity leave on a 12 month fixed term basis (with the potential to be extended), working 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilisation and demobilisation of employees and contractors
- Liaise with onsite Superintendents, Coordinators and Supervisors to ensure accurate understanding of project and site requirements
- Book and manage flights, charter transport, camp accommodation and vehicle allocations for FIFO and site-based personnel
- Maintain mobilisation schedules and workforce movement trackers, escalating conflicts or delays to the Workforce Supervisor
- Coordinate return-to-site and offboarding processes as required
- Arrange medicals, drug and alcohol testing and statutory checks in line with client and site requirements
- Coordinate site-specific and company inductions, and track completion against mobilisation deadlines
- Ensure all mobilisation and onboarding processes adhere to KBSS and Client requirements
- Procure and issue PPE, uniforms and site-specific equipment ahead of mobilisation date
- Prepare mobilisation status reports and post-project /post-shutdown reporting for the Workforce Supervisor
- Support payroll with timely and accurate mobilisation, travel and roster data
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees during mobilisation, providing timely updates on progress and start dates
- Provide administrative support to the broader Operations function as required and directed by the Workforce Supervisor
- Adhoc duties as required
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience using Sprint suite, Pegasus, MyPass or other workforce / compliance systems (highly desirable)
- Experience in Mining and/or Energy sector highly desirable for this role
- Must have Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and strong sense of accountability
- Proficient written communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound understanding of employment compliance requirements, including inductions, medicals, licences and police clearances
