Support the delivery of a national First Nations maternal and child health program through travel coordination, event support, administration, finance processing, and stakeholder engagement.
About the Position
As the Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating travel and accommodation bookings, supporting the delivery of events and meetings, maintaining records and reporting data, processing finance administration activities, and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the National Support Unit for First Nations Maternal and Child Health Services.
About You To be successful, you will require:
- Sound organisational and administrative skills, with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in travel coordination, record keeping and data entry;
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond to enquiries and liaise professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders;
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations, with a commitment to cultural safety;
- Strong customer service skills and competency in Microsoft Office and administrative or finance systems;
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to Year 12, a Certificate IV qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training;
- Commitment to the University’s values.
Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Skilled Level 4. The base salary will be in the range of $72,348 – $76,913 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,647 - $89,988 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
