Board Direction , on behalf of the Sporting Shooters' Association of Australia (Sydney), seeks to appoint two(2) Non-Executive Directors.

The Sydney Branch of the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (SSAA Sydney) is Australia’s largest and most established sporting shooting organisation, representing approximately 40,000 members across metropolitan Sydney.

The organisation is currently completing a significant governance transition and seeks to appoint two (2) Non-Executive Directors with ideally either: Legal, regulatory or compliance and/or experience to act as Company Secretary OR Human resources or organisational development and transformation experience.

Or potentially those with: Governance; Finance, audit or risk management; Cybersecurity or technology governance; or Government relations or public policy experience.





In addition to having the above board-level skills and experience, SSAA (Sydney) seeks to appoint NEDs with a demonstrable passion for sport, sporting organisations or growing participation in sporting activities - an understanding of, or affinity for, sporting shooting, hunting or similar activities would also be desirable.

Location : NSW-based candidates would be strongly preferred.

Remuneration: Expenses only.
