Create engaging communications, share knowledge and insights, and strengthen connections across the National Support Unit and implementing sites.
About the Position
As a NSU Communications and Knowledge Exchange Officer, you will produce and coordinate engaging, accessible and culturally appropriate communications and knowledge products for the National Support Unit. You will develop digital and print content across newsletters, websites, intranet, social media and stakeholder channels, while supporting events and Communities of Practice.
Working collaboratively across the program, you will capture and share practice knowledge and evaluation insights, maintain knowledge resources, and support two-way knowledge exchange across implementing sites, ensuring communications align with brand, quality, cultural safety and Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles.
About You To be successful, you will require:
- Qualifications in communications, media, knowledge management or a related field, with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience creating and coordinating engaging communications across newsletters, websites, digital platforms, publications and social media for diverse audiences.
- Strong writing and design skills, with the ability to produce transparent, accessible and culturally appropriate content across a range of channels.
- Experience managing website content, with strong digital literacy across Microsoft Office and design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Demonstrated experience in knowledge management or knowledge exchange, including capturing and sharing insights and maintaining knowledge resources or platforms.
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations, with a strong commitment to cultural safety and Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles.
- Robust organisational and collaborative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 8. The base salary will be in the range of $111,924 - $126,533 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $130,951 - $148,043 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
