Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, AIN

Independent Nurses Australia is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, AIN to support a young person with complex care needs in their home in Tweed Heads, NSW.

This is a casual, on-site role with an immediate start available. Shifts are expected to be approximately 7:00am–4:00pm on school days, with exact times still being confirmed.

About the role

You will provide safe, respectful and person-centred clinical support in accordance with the participant’s care plan and individual needs.

Your responsibilities will include

PEG feeding and associated care

Hoist transfers and manual handling

PRN oral suction

Monitoring the participant’s wellbeing and responding appropriately to changes

Completing accurate clinical notes and documentation

Communicating respectfully with the participant, their family and the wider care team

Supporting the participant’s comfort, dignity, safety and independence

About you

We are looking for someone who is calm, reliable and confident supporting a young person with complex care needs.





Paediatric nursing or paediatric disability-support experience is highly regarded.

The successful applicant will require:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or relevant qualification

Relevant experience with PEG feeding, hoist transfers and oral suction

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current WWCC (Blue Card), or willing to obtain

Australian working rights A current driver’s licence and reliable transport

Strong communication and clinical-documentation skills A commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed and culturally secure care

- Registered Nurse base rate: $53 per hour
