Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Team Member to join a well-established horticultural operation based in Perths Northeastern Suburbs.

Our client operates within the horticulture sector, producing a wide range of Australian native plants used across landscaping, revegetation, environmental rehabilitation and urban greening projects throughout Western Australia.

What will this position entail?

Working as part of a production-focused nursery team, you'll be involved across a variety of day-to-day activities. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working with plants and seeing the results of their work.

Main responsibilities will include

- Seeding, tubing and potting a variety of plants.
- General plant maintenance and crop care.
- Grading and preparing plants to meet required quality standards.
- Picking, preparing and quality-checking customer orders.
- Assisting with dispatch and ensuring orders are ready on time.
- Monitoring irrigation systems and carrying out basic troubleshooting when required.
- Undertaking chemical handling and application in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Supporting general nursery activities as required throughout the production cycle.

How can you be successful?

- Certificate III in Nursery Operations, Horticulture, or equivalent hands-on nursery experience (essential)
- Previous experience working in a commercial nursery, horticulture, landscaping or a similar production environment.
- Reliable, physically fit, comfortable with repetitive outdoor production work
- Willing to participate in a weekend watering roster (not required immediately, but an ongoing part of the role)
- Drivers licence and full Australian working rights.
