Occupational Therapist – Albany, WA

As part of our continued commitment to Albany and the Great Southern Region, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our established allied health team.

Whether you are an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for your next opportunity or a new graduate beginning your career, you will be supported by our clinical leadership team while working with clients to achieve outcomes that matter in their everyday lives.

This position is available full-time or part-time, with flexible working arrangements available.

The role

You will provide evidence-based, person-centred Occupational Therapy services to a varied caseload. Services may be delivered in our clinics, in the community or via telehealth, depending on client needs and preferences. We aim to allocate community-based caseloads within practical geographic areas to support reasonable travel between appointments. Depending on your experience, interests and client needs, your work may include:

- Conducting functional, developmental and environmental assessments
- Developing individualised therapy plans in collaboration with clients, families and other members of their support network
- Delivering evidence-based interventions aligned with each client's goals
- Supporting clients to build independence, capacity and meaningful participation in everyday life
- Completing functional assessments and other reports appropriate to your role and scope of practice
- Working collaboratively with Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists,



Therapy Assistants and other professionals
- Preparing clear, accurate and clinically meaningful reports and documentation
- Contributing to case discussions, professional development and continuous quality improvement

About you

We are looking for clinicians who care about both what they do and how wellthey do it.

You will bring

- A recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for registration
- A commitment to evidence-based, person-centred and ethical practice
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Sound clinical reasoning and a willingness to seek support when needed
- Good organisation, time management and documentation practices
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- A current driver's licence and willingness to provide services within the community
- A Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them
