About Balance Health

Balance Health is a multidisciplinary allied health provider delivering community and in-home services across Greater Sydney. We support clients through Support at Home (SaH) and NDIS services.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with skills in Assistive Technology (AT) and Home Modifications (HM) to join our growing contractor network.

About the Role

- Conduct in-home functional, AT and home modification assessments.
- Assess mobility, transfers, daily living activities and environmental risks.
- Recommend and prescribe appropriate AT and home modifications.
- Prepare clear, timely and clinically appropriate assessment reports.
- Liaise with clients, families, care partners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and meet relevant professional and funding requirements.

Requirements

- Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Valid NSW Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Police check.
- Excellent communication and clinical skills.
- Experience in AT and/or home modifications is highly desirable.
- Chinese-speaking ability is preferred but not essential.

Experience working with Support at Home and/or NDIS clients will be highly regarded.
