NOUSIA finds people who are already doing interesting things, assesses any skills gaps you'd need before being day one ready for a mission driven role at a frontier company, trains you properly with AI, and puts you in front of Australia's frontier companies. Our first cohort is Offensive Cyber Security, and we want people who'd rather pull something apart than read the manual.

You already know if this is you

You've got a rack of old servers in the garage running things you never quite finished. There's a 3D printer in the corner that's produced more custom brackets than anything practical. You've flashed firmware you weren't supposed to, soldered a board back to life, run a home lab so complicated your housemates gave up asking about the wifi. You've stayed up too late trying to get a Raspberry Pi to do something nobody needed it to do.

Maybe you fly and build drones. Maybe you write bots for games, reverse-engineer cheap electronics, keep a pile of software-defined radios you're still learning to use, or have a spreadsheet tracking every device on your network. Maybe you've done a few CTFs, taught yourself Linux and networking from YouTube and forum posts, and got further than most people who paid to learn it.

Or maybe you're studying computer science, or already working in IT, and the day job isn't using the part of your brain that does all this at midnight.

That's who we're looking for. We don't have an ATAR cutoff, we don't care whether you finished a degree, and we don't really care about your résumé.



What we care about is the thing that makes you take stuff apart to see how it works.

What you'll actually do

This is not a lecture series. From day one you'll be building systems, breaking them, and defending them. You'll investigate real problems and work through them without being handed the answer. You'll come out with a body of work that proves what you can do, and that's what we put in front of employers, not a certificate.

The goal is to become someone who can be trusted with hard problems.

Why NOUSIA

You'd be first. There will only ever be one Cohort 01.
