What's On Offer

$64.55 to $69.04/hr (Depending on certificates held) + Penalties + Additional Allowances

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Industrial/Maintenance Electrician, ideally in water treatment, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments

Current NSW Electrical Licence

Certificate in Electrotechnology OR Engineering (Electrical)

Current CPR / LVR (Low Voltage Rescue) certification - MUST





Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (you may be required to work at different locations)

White Card (Construction Induction Card) - mandatory

Working at Heights - MUST

Confined Spaces - MUST

Experience with PLCs, VSDs, SCADA, and telemetry systems is highly advantageous

Valid Australian work rights (citizen, permanent resident, or unrestricted visa)

Strong understanding and commitment to site safety protocols

Positive communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

Able to follow instructions and work autonomously where required

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on water treatment equipment and plant machinery

Fault find, repair, and maintain electric motors, pumps, variable speed drives (VSDs), control panels, and instrumentation

Isolate, test, and commission electrical systems and switchboards safely

Support daily operations and collaborate with mechanical fitters to ensure smooth functionality of the treatment plant

Participate in site toolbox talks and maintain strict electrical safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices
