TRS Resourcing is currently seeking experienced Boilermakers/Fabricators to join a leading manufacturer of fuel tanker trailers, fuel transport equipment, and bunded fuel tanks based in Sydney's Western Suburbs.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, reliable workshop role with consistent overtime and ongoing work available on day shift.

About the Role
n
Working within a well-equipped fabrication workshop, you will be involved in the manufacture, repair, and modification of commercial fuel transport equipment.
n
Duties Will Include
n
n
- Structural steel fabrication and welding
n
- Aluminium and stainless-steel welding
n
- Reading and interpreting engineering and workshop drawings
n
- Jig setup and fabrication assembly work
n
- General workshop fabrication and repairs
n
- Fuel tanker trailer maintenance and modifications
n
n
Candidates with experience working in confined spaces, including the installation of baffles and tanker repairs, will be highly regarded.
n

Skills & Experience Required
n
To be successful, you will possess:
n
n
- Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Fabrication
n
- Strong welding and fabrication experience
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
- Experience setting up and working from jigs
n
- Sound mechanical aptitude
n
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
n
- Current Australian working rights
n
- Current residency within the Sydney metropolitan area
n
- Two recent work-related references
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- Confined Space Entry ticket
n
- Previous confined-space welding experience
n
- Experience installing tanker baffles
n
- Fuel tanker trailer repair experience
n
- Background in the fuel transport, tanker manufacturing, or heavy vehicle industry
n
n
