Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a large corporate finance team, supporting month-end close, statutory and shareholder reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and external audit activities. Key Responsibilities

Complete month-end accounting including journals, intercompany eliminations and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare statutory financial statements and support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting Assist with

IFRS financial statements , accounting papers and technical accounting matters Prepare audit working papers and support the external audit process Assist with annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and tax effect workings Support accounting policy updates, system improvements and process efficiencies Contribute to broader finance and continuous improvement initiatives Key Requirements

3+ years' accounting or finance experience

within a medium to large corporate environment Tertiary qualification in Accounting,



Commerce or similar CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion Knowledge of Australian and International Accounting Standards Strong financial accounting, reporting and reconciliation experience Intermediate to advanced

Excel

skills Experience working with an ERP accounting system Solid attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines Highly Regarded

SAP FI

experience Technical accounting exposure Experience supporting statutory reporting and external audits Experience mentoring or guiding junior finance team members 6-month contract with potential to convert to permanent Join an established finance function within a large corporate environment Broad exposure across financial accounting, reporting, audit and improvement initiatives
