Experienced Graphic Designer with exp in style guides i.e. Disney,Bluey etc

You will be responsible for developing graphics and artwork for licensed consumer products including lunch bags, freezable lunch bags, cooler bags, pouches, drink bottles, bento boxes, packaging, swing tags, POS, social-media advertising, ecommerce graphics, retail presentations and promotional material. Projects may include licensed brands such as Bluey, Disney, Barbie and other major entertainment properties, subject to licensing approvals. You will work from official licensed style guides and approved artwork to develop commercially attractive product designs, turning licensed artwork into finished consumer products while ensuring every design complies with the licensor's requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Work from official licensed style guides and approved artwork to develop commercially attractive product designs, understanding character usage, positioning, approved poses, logo usage, brand colours, typography, background treatments, pattern development, graphic hierarchy, clear-space requirements, and licensor approval requirements
- Turn licensed artwork into finished consumer products including product graphics, repeating patterns, placement prints, all-over prints, character compositions, packaging artwork, cartons, header cards, swing tags and stickers
- Consider commercial design factors including shelf impact, target age group, colour appeal, retail positioning, product differentiation, price-point perception, online thumbnail impact, packaging hierarchy, seasonal opportunities and Australian and international markets
- Follow the current Style Guide precisely, use approved artwork and assets, never alter characters without permission, follow approved logo requirements and colour specifications, maintain required brand hierarchy,



prepare artwork for licensor approval and make revisions following licensor feedback
- Manage multiple SKUs and design revisions while maintaining accurate artwork versions

About you

- Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
- Experienced with vector artwork, product artwork, packaging artwork, print production, CMYK, Pantone, colour separation, dielines, repeat patterns, image resolution and production-ready files
- Demonstrated experience designing licensed consumer products for brands such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Barbie, Bluey, Warner Bros., Sanrio, Nickelodeon, Universal, Paw Patrol, Pokémon, LEGO or comparable licensed properties
- Experience designing for products such as lunch bags, cooler bags, children's products, drink bottles, bento boxes, kitchenware, bags, accessories, toys, stationery or consumer merchandise
- Creative – you generate fresh ideas rather than simply placing characters onto products
- Commercial – you understand retail and what sells
- Detail-oriented – you understand that one incorrect logo, colour, character treatment or placement can result in artwork being rejected
- Licensing-aware – you understand the importance of working strictly within approved Style Guides
- Product-focused – you understand how artwork translates onto a manufactured product
- Quick and organised – you can manage multiple SKUs and design revisions
- Collaborative – you can work with product managers, manufacturers, licensors, marketing teams and retailers
