About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full time Optical Dispenser / Optical Retail Consultant .
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a retail environment, and is looking to build a long-term career within the optical industry. You'll play a key role in helping customers choose eyewear that suits their vision, lifestyle and personal style while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key responsibilities include
- Assisting customers with frame and lens selection
- Providing personalised recommendations and excellent customer service
- Processing sales, orders, appointments and health fund claims
- Supporting day-to-day retail operations and store presentation
- Working collaboratively with our optometrists and retail team
- Achieving individual and team sales goals
This is a full-time position with a versatile roster across a 7-day trading week , including weekends and late-night trading.
About You

Desirable Experience While not essential, the following would be highly regarded:
- Optical dispensing experience
- Retail sales experience
- Experience recommending products and solutions to customers
- Experience in healthcare, fashion, optical or specialty retail
We value attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn just as highly as previous optical experience.
