Factory Direct Healthcare QLD is a locally owned and operated Queensland business providing mobility and assistive technology equipment to help people remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes.

Our North Lakes showroom offers a friendly, welcoming environment where customers, families, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and care providers can view, trial and discuss equipment including lift recliners, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, adjustable beds and bathroom aids.

We are looking for a friendly and confident Showroom Sales & Customer Service Consultant to join our small team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on customer-facing role where you will help customers find the right equipment for their individual needs.

Your responsibilities will include

- Welcoming customers to our showroom and providing friendly customer service
- Understanding customer needs and providing helpful, needs-based product information
- Demonstrating and assisting customers to trial mobility and assistive technology equipment
- Preparing quotes and following up enquiries
- Processing orders and payments using Square and Xero
- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Liaising with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Home Care providers and other professionals
- Assisting with stock, showroom presentation and general day-to-day operations
- Opening and closing the showroom when required
- Supporting deliveries, customer collections and other showroom tasks as needed

About You We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly,



approachable and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Confident speaking with customers and explaining products clearly
- Professional when communicating with healthcare professionals and providers
- Comfortable with computers and learning new systems
- Organised and able to follow through on customer enquiries and quotes
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable demonstrating products and having conversations about customers' individual needs
- Naturally sales-minded without being pushy — our focus is on finding the right solution for the customer
- Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

Experience in mobility, aged care, healthcare or assistive technology is desirable, but not essential. Why Join Us?
