We have a recent role for commercially minded analyst who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights and helping leaders make informed decisions.

n

This is a maternity leave cover for a 12-month period within our Commercial & Analytics team and will partner closely with Corporate Services leaders to provide financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, while identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, improved performance and stronger commercial outcomes.

n

What you will do

n

This role is reporting to the Manager Commercial & Reporting to provide meaningful analysis and commercial support. Key to this role will be:

n

n
- Budgeting, forecasting and month-end performance analysis.
n
- Delivering financial and commercial insights for leaders.
n
- Investigating business trends, opportunities and performance drivers.
n
- Identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities across the organisation.
n
- Analysing financial and operational data to support decision-making.
n
- Developing business cases, modelling and commercial recommendations.
n
- Working with existing reporting and data sources to surface actionable insights.
n




- Supporting process improvement initiatives and documentation.
n
- Translating complex data into practical recommendations for leaders.
n
- Contributing to Board, management and operational reporting activities
n

About You

n

You are known as a commercially minded and analytical professional, genuinely interested in understanding what drives business performance.

n

You enjoy working with stakeholders, exploring data, challenging assumptions and uncovering insights that create value.

n

You will bring to the team:

n

n
- Experience in financial analysis, commercial analysis or business partnering.
n
- Recent budgeting and forecasting experience.
n
- Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n
- Experience interpreting data and making practical recommendations.
n
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets, data cubes and pivot tables.
n
- Proven problem-solving and analytical thinking capability.
n
- A continuous improvement mindset and interest in identifying efficiencies.
n
- The ability to communicate insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
n

n

Standout experiences would be:

n

n
- Experience as a Commercial Analyst, Financial Analyst,



Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant.
n
- Experience supporting operational leaders through financial insights and decision support.
n
- Exposure to medium or large multi-site organisations.
n
- Power BI experience, however, report development is not a primary responsibility of this role.
