We are seeking a Legal Counsel to work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys providing practical legal advice while playing a key role in developing and managing compliance and governance frameworks.

This role is joining a team of six lawyers and reports to the General Counsel. The successful candidate will provide timely, pragmatic and solutions-focused legal support across a diverse range of commercial and operational matters. You will also help drive key compliance initiatives, risk management programs and governance activities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Contract Management

n

n
- Provide practical legal advice to stakeholders across the business.
n
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
n
- Manage contract-related issues throughout the contract lifecycle.
n
- Assist with disputes, claims and litigation matters.
n

n

Compliance & Risk

n

n
- Support and maintain compliance programs covering areas such as modern slavery, privacy, ethics and regulatory obligations.
n
- Identify, assess and mitigate legal and compliance risks.
n
- Assist with internal investigations,



due diligence activities and compliance reporting.
n
- Partner with stakeholders to strengthen controls, policies and procedures.

Governance

n

- Support the management and ongoing review of governance frameworks and organisational policies.
n
- Coordinate policy reviews and updates to ensure legislative and regulatory compliance.
n
- Act as a key point of contact for governance-related enquiries.
n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience.
n
- Experience in-house or within a commercial law practice.
n
- Robust contract drafting and negotiation skills.
n
- A commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
