We are seeking an experienced and reliable part-time Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our financial operations.

Key responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable and receivable
n
- Perform bank and credit-card reconciliations
n
- Process payroll, superannuation and employee reimbursements
n
- Maintain accurate financial records and the general ledger
n
- Assist with budgets, cash-flow reporting and month-end processes
n
- Prepare reports and documentation for management and external accountants
n
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes
n

About you

n

You will ideally have:

n

n




- Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, payroll and compliance requirements
n
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- A high level of integrity and discretion
n
- Robust communication skills and the ability to work independently
n
- Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications
n
- Experience in education or a small-to-medium business would be an advantage.
