About the Role: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced

Assistant Venue Manager

who is motivated, hands-on & committed person to support daily operations and help lead our dynamic team.

Task will include but not limited to;

Supporting the Director in daily operations across the business, working closely together

Adhering to OH&S; and Liquor License compliance

Maintain policy and procedures

Leading FOH & BOH teams, ensuring exceptional customer service

Assist in implementing service improvements and uphold service standards

Assisting with training, mentoring and motivating staff

Overseeing opening/closing procedures and facilitating smooth shift transitions

Managing bookings and floor plans

Manage staff rosters and shift checklists

Key Qualifications/ Experience

Must have experience in high-volume Cafe, Restaurant & Event operations

Must have a minimum of 5 years of hospitality industry experience

Hands-on, lived knowledge of food & beverage service

Be a great communicator to lead a young and enthusiastic team

Responsible for the recruitment of recent staff

Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
