Our client, Lismore Base Hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical team in Lismore, NSW. This is a contract position starting as soon as possible and running until 25 October 2026, offering approximately four weeks of work. The successful candidate will bring experience in medical and stroke nursing to support the hospital's Medical Ward and contribute to high-quality patient care in a regional healthcare setting.

- Work across medical and stroke nursing in a busy regional hospital setting
- Contract role, approximately four weeks, starting ASAP through to 25 October 2026
- Based in Lismore, Northern Rivers region of NSW

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in medical nursing
- Experience in stroke care and management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ward workplace
- Strong clinical communication and patient-centred care approach

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate qualification or certification in stroke nursing or medical nursing
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
