This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced litigator to broaden or specialise their practice across medical negligence, health law and professional regulation while working within a close-knit and team-oriented team recognised for technical excellence.

The role
n
You'll advise and represent healthcare professionals, insurers and medical defence organisations across a broad range of matters including:
n
n
- Medical negligence litigation
n
- Coronial investigations and inquests
n
- Professional disciplinary investigations and proceedings
n
- Personal injury litigation
n
- Regulatory and health law advice
n
- Risk management and strategic claims advice
n
n
Working directly with two experienced Principals,
you'll take ownership of matters from an early stage while receiving ongoing mentoring and support on sophisticated and often high-profile matters.
n
About you
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
- 4+ years' PAE
n
- Experience in civil litigation, defendant insurance, personal injury or commercial litigation
n
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
n
- Experience managing matters with increasing autonomy
n
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
n
- An interest in health law, medical negligence or regulatory work
n
n
Plaintiff and defendant lawyers with strong litigation experience and an interest in transitioning into Health Law are encouraged to apply.
