Landscaping Laborer

to join our team on a

full-time basis . Based in

Fyshwick, ACT , this role is fundamental to delivering high-quality landscaping projects for our clients across the region. As a Landscaping Laborer, you will be at the heart of our operations, supporting the execution of landscaping jobs and ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on role that offers excellent opportunities to develop your skills in a dynamic, growing business within the gardening and landscaping industry.

What you'll be doing

Assist with site preparation, excavation, demolition, clearing and levelling

Assist with paving, concreting, decking, retaining walls, brickwork and edging

Assist with garden bed preparation, planting, turfing and softscape construction

Operate hand tools, power tools and landscaping/construction equipment safely

Load, unload and move materials, plants and equipment around job sites

Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas

Follow all site safety requirements and report hazards or incidents

Work as part of a team and follow directions from supervisors, foremen and project managers

Assist with problem‑solving and completing works efficiently and to a high standard

Work across different commercial construction sites and project environments

What we're looking for

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Reliable, punctual and committed to full‑time work

Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour and lifting

Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions

Experience using hand and power tools

Good communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Current driver's licence and reliable transport





Previous landscape construction, civil construction or building experience is advantageous

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

The following are

highly desirable but not essential :

HR driver's licence

Experience operating trucks and commercial vehicles

Plant and machinery tickets , including excavator, skid steer, front-end loader, roller or similar

Experience operating construction and civil machinery

Previous

commercial landscape construction or civil construction experience
