About Our Client

Our client is a well-established aged care organisation currently undertaking a significant payroll transformation project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing payroll team, gain exposure to leading payroll systems, and contribute to a large-scale payroll operation in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Reporting into the Payroll Team Lead, the successful Payroll Officer will be responsible for:

- Supporting a major payroll transformation and systems implementation project.

- Performing high-volume payroll data entry and employee record maintenance.

- Ensuring payroll data is accurate, complete, and updated within agreed timeframes.

- Assisting with payroll system testing, validation, and implementation activities.

- Supporting the rollout of current payroll metrics, reporting, and process improvements.

- Investigating and resolving payroll data discrepancies.

- Maintaining employee records across payroll, HRIS, and workforce management systems.

- Assisting with reconciliations, data audits, and reporting requirements.

- Liaising with Payroll, HR, and operational stakeholders to ensure data integrity.

- Providing administrative support to the payroll team during a critical project period.





- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and system optimisation activities.

- Ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with payroll policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant A successful Payroll Officer should have:

- Previous payroll administration or payroll officer experience.

- Strong attention to detail and payroll data accuracy.

- Experience working in high-volume environments.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- The ability to learn new systems quickly and work autonomously.

- Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.

- Exposure to payroll projects, testing, or system implementations is highly regarded.

- Experience with Preceda, UKG, or Humanforce is advantageous.

- A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach.
