Description
- Lead the accurate and timely processing of high volume payrolls
- Supervise and mentor team members
- Manage payroll activities across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Act as the escalation point for complex payroll, remuneration and industrial relations queries.
- Ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and legislative requirements.
- Support payroll audits,
reconciliations and reporting activities.
- Maintain payroll records in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
Profile
- Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a complex, high-volume environment.
- Ideally experience leading or supervising a payroll team, or in a senior role coaching and training others.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation.
- Experience interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally.
