About The POST Centre The POST Centre is a neurodiversity-affirming, multidisciplinary allied health clinic and NDIS-registered provider based in Malvern East.

We support children, young people and their families through collaborative, evidence-based and strengths-based care. Our team provides Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and other allied health supports.

Our clinicians work with a mixed caseload of private clients and NDIS participants, allowing for variety in clinical presentations, therapy goals and service delivery.

As our clinic continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist who enjoys working with children and families and is passionate about helping young people develop their communication, language and participation skills in a respectful, individualised and neurodiversity-affirming way.

We are open to full-time, part-time and subcontractor arrangements, depending on your availability and preferred way of working.

You will primarily work from our Malvern East clinic and manage a mixed paediatric caseload of private clients and NDIS participants.

Your caseload may include children requiring support with:

- Speech sound development and articulation
- Receptive and expressive language
- Social communication
- Early language development
- Literacy and phonological awareness
- Fluency
- AAC and alternative communication systems
- Autism and developmental differences
- Developmental language disorder
- Childhood apraxia of speech
- Functional communication and participation

The role includes assessment, therapy, goal setting, family education, report writing and collaboration with other professionals involved in the child’s care.

Key Responsibilities

You will

- Conduct Speech Pathology assessments and develop individualised therapy plans
- Deliver engaging, evidence-informed and neurodiversity-affirming therapy
- Manage a mixed caseload of private and NDIS-funded clients




- Support communication without placing unnecessary emphasis on masking, compliance or appearing “neurotypical”
- Respect and support different communication styles, including AAC and alternative forms of communication
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, teachers and other professionals
- Develop practical strategies that families can incorporate into everyday routines
- Prepare clinical notes, progress reports and NDIS-related documentation
- Contribute to NDIS goal planning and progress reporting where required
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and collaborative care planning
- Use strengths-based, family-centred and neurodiversity-affirming approaches
- Maintain appropriate clinical records and professional documentation
- Participate in supervision, professional development and team meetings where applicable
- Contribute positively to our inclusive and collaborative clinic culture

About You We would love to hear from you if you:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
- Are eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Have, or are eligible to obtain, an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Hold a current Working With Children Check
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively with children, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Are organised and confident managing clinical documentation
- Are comfortable working with both private and NDIS-funded clients
- Value neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based and family-centred practice
- Respect different communication styles and individual ways of engaging with the world
- Are enthusiastic about ongoing professional development

For subcontractors, we can provide access to an established clinic environment, administrative support, referral opportunities and the benefit of working alongside a multidisciplinary team. Subcontractors will be required to maintain appropriate professional registrations, insurances, clearances and documentation relevant to their role.
