This is an opportunity to really own the People & Culture function within a growing Brisbane business.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on People & Culture Manager who can work closely with the leadership team, support managers and employees, and help shape how the people side of the business develops from here.

They need someone who can come in, understand the business, work out what's missing and give explicit advice on what needs to happen next.

You'll have genuine ownership across:

- People & Culture and employee experience
- HR advice and support to managers and leadership
- ER, performance management, grievances and investigations
- HR policies, procedures and employment compliance
- Fair Work and Modern Award requirements
- WorkCover and return-to-work matters when required
- Onboarding and the broader employee lifecycle
- Manager support and capability
- Workplace culture, communication and engagement
- Broader office and workplace responsibilities

There's plenty of scope to make the function your own, introduce structure where it's needed and have a genuine influence on the culture and employee experience as the business grows.



You'll have solid experience across People & Culture, HR Management or HR Business Partnering and be equally comfortable with the positive side of P&C; and the harder HR matters when they land.

Sound knowledge of - Australian employment legislation, Fair Work and Modern Awards, together with practical experience across ER, performance management, policies, investigations and workplace compliance is also required.

Importantly, this is a broad generalist People & Culture role, not a pathway from recruitment or Talent Acquisition into HR.

If your experience has been predominantly recruitment or TA without substantial hands-on experience across the wider HR function, this won't be the right fit.

Experience working across a mixed workforce including office, retail, warehouse, logistics or other operational teams would be comparable in terms of the environment here.
