Are you a passionate, reflective kaiako who believes in the power of relationships, play and meaningful learning?

Kaitiaki Kindergartens is seeking a warm, enthusiastic and committed permanent full time kaiako to join the teaching team at Torbay Kindergarten.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a welcoming kindergarten community where tamariki are encouraged to explore, discover, develop confidence and experience a strong sense of belonging.

- Understands how to use assessment, reflection and intentional teaching to strengthen learning
- Values child-led play, curiosity, creativity and learning within the natural environment
- Works collaboratively and contributes positively to a supportive team culture
- Is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and confident in continuing to grow their use of te reo Māori and tikanga Māori
- Brings energy, initiative and a genuine love of teaching




- Is open to professional learning, shared reflection and new ideas

The successful applicant will need to hold a NZ recognised ECE teaching qualification and current NZ teacher registration and certification, and are a NZ citizen/resident or hold a NZ work visa.
