Superior Home Health Services are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate Aged Care and NDIS Support Workers to join our team in the Moreton Bay Region for clients in the Redcliffe, Deception Bay, North Lakes area and Occasionally Bribie Island areas. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You'll be self-motivated and love providing care to those who are vulnerable.

Responsibilities will include:

- Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client;
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties;
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support;
- Providing support with social and recreational activities;
- Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications;
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;




- Responding to emergency situations; and
- Working weekend shifts as rostered

Essential Criteria:

- Manual handling and hoisting
- Experience with mental health and physical disability
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support - Aged Care or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on recent challenges
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening including Blue Card (or equivalent)
- 1 year experience (preferably community)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $42.00 – $44.00 per hour
