The role
n
Joining prior to project commencement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the business while taking complete ownership of the full commercial lifecycle.
n
Responsibilities include
n
n
- Procure, package, and negotiate subcontracts through to final account
n
- Manage all claims, variations, progress payments, and contract correspondence from both a head contract and subcontract perspectives.
n
- Oversee monthly budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
n
- Build, mentor and lead commercial team members.
n
n
Experience Required
n
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
n
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the Australian commercial construction sector.
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and commercial management practices.
n
- Experience delivering commercial towers or apartments with project values exceeding $100 million.
n
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage all stakeholder relationships at all levels.
