Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated 1st Year Carpentry Apprentice to join our growing construction team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, works hard and wants to build a long-term career in carpentry. You will work alongside experienced tradesmen and gain hands‐on experience across a variety of residential construction and renovation projects.

Key responsibilities

Work on residential construction and renovation projects

n

Gain hands‐on experience in carpentry under the guidance of experienced tradesmen

n

Develop skills across renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, windows, doors and general building

n

About you

n

1st Year Carpentry Apprentice or looking to commence apprenticeship

n

Enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn

n

Genuine interest in carpentry and construction





n

Strong work ethic and takes pride in their work

n

Punctual and well presented

n

Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team

n

Physically fit and comfortable working on construction sites

n

Good attitude and willing to get stuck into all aspects of the job

n

Driver's licence or working towards obtaining one

n

Previous construction experience preferred but not essential

n

Hands‐on training and experience with qualified tradesmen

n

Exposure to a wide range of carpentry and construction work

n
