Join our friendly team at Complete Dental Elanora on the southern Gold Coast! We are looking for a casual or part time Dental Assistant who can also work on reception when required. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our dentists and ensuring the efficient running of the practice. With a focus on patient care and customer service, your primary responsibilities will involve chairside assisting, sterilisation and general administrative duties. The position will be three days per week; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and one Saturday morning per month. Extra hours are available when other staff are on leave.

The days/hours are not flexible so this position will not suit students.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting the dentist chairside during procedures, passing instruments and helping to maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments according to strict infection control protocols
- Welcoming and checking in patients, booking appointments and handling payment transactions
- Maintaining accurate patient records and completing other administrative tasks as required
- Ensuring the dental surgery is clean, stocked and prepared for the day's procedures

What we're looking for

- Excellent communication and patient service skills, with the ability to put patients at ease




- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer programs and standard office equipment
- Commitment to ongoing career development and continuous improvement
- Dental reception experience will be highly regarded
- As we open every second Saturday morning, Saturday availability will be required on a rotating basis
- Experience is not necessary, we will train the right person for our team
- Someone with flexibility and able to cover when staff are sick/on holidays
