n Remuneration: Dependent on Qualifications

- Counsellor & Social Worker Level 1 / 2: $40.05 - $57.14 per hour
n
- Psychologist: $42.19 - $61.76 per hour
n
n
Hours Per Week: 38

Where you'll be working
n
Join the Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS) at Blacktown Community Health Centre, delivering specialised, trauma-informed support across child protection, domestic and family violence, and sexual assault.
n

What you'll be doing
n
You will coordinate and manage referrals into the Child Protection Counselling Service while delivering high-quality early support,
assessment and therapeutic interventions.
n
n
- Manage Referral Management & Early Support (RMES) processes end-to-end
n
- Coordinate referrals, engaging closely with stakeholders and agencies
n
- Provide counselling, advocacy and case management to children and families
n
- Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments and care planning
n
- Support group programs and collaborate on integrated service delivery
n
n

Selection Criteria:
n
n
- Tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor's degree) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Graduate Certificate in Human & Community Services (Interpersonal Trauma) and eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership
n
- Demonstrated counselling experience in complex trauma and trauma informed practice within a Violence, Abuse & Neglect setting (e.g. sexual assault, child protection or domestic violence services)
n
- Demonstrated assessment, case management and counselling skills with children, young people and adults
