About the opportunity

n

We are seeking a full-time Bush Regeneration Team Leader to work in our Bush Regeneration team, supporting clients on projects around Western Sydney area

n

We will provide you with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true passion for Land Management.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Identify, treat and manage invasive weeds using safe and effective control methods to maintain healthy, well-presented landscapes and prevent the spread of unwanted vegetation.
n
- Plant and establish trees, shrubs, and groundcovers, ensuring appropriate placement, soil preparation and ongoing care to support healthy growth and landscape development.
n
- Inspect and maintain bush regeneration equipment and tools to ensure secure, reliable operation,



minimise downtime and support efficient environmental restoration activities.
n

These roles are always in the field therefore you must be happy to work in a variety of weather conditions.

n

What you'll bring:

n

n
- Own reliable vehicle or ability to get to sites
n
- Ability to work unsupervised
n
- A good attitude to workplace health and safety
n
- Be physically fit and able to undertake labour intensive work
n
- Experience in vegetation, land or weed management
n
- Experience/ interest in identification of species both native and weeds
n

n

Required skills and qualifications

n

n
- Chainsaw /brush cutter tickets or experience
n
- Drivers Licence
n
- Map reading
n
- Experience with hand tools
n
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
- Chemical application accreditation / ACDC Licence
n
- Cert I or II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management
n
