The Early Childhood Educator Group Leader Role

- Play a key role at the Jabiru Child Care Centre, leading educators to provide a stimulating, safe and happy learning environment for children in our care.

- Guide the planning, delivery and review of quality early learning programs that support each child’s individual learning and development needs.



You will supervise and support educators, while building positive relationships with children, families and the local community.

- Help maintain a welcoming, inclusive centre and support a collaborative team culture where children can thrive.

- This role is ideal for an experienced Early Childhood Educator with a passion for early education and care who wants a meaningful, community-focused position in the Top End.

About you

- A National Quality Framework‑recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent, or actively working towards one.

- Proven experience providing education and care for children from birth to five years, including children with additional needs.

- The ability to lead, support and guide other educators

- Strong communication skills and a warm, caring approach to working with children, families and the local community.

- Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card), National Criminal History Check, First Aid, asthma and anaphylaxis management training.

- A strong appreciation of Indigenous culture and genuine enthusiasm for living and working in a remote community.

- Total remuneration package from $86,771 to $93,137 depending on qualifications (including salary from $76,102 to $81,685), plus 12% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.
