The TPCH Laboratory Group brings together laboratories at The Prince Charles, Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals, all operating under NATA accreditation. To support collaboration, professional development and a strong team culture, staff may be required to work across all three laboratory sites.

This is a great opportunity for a confident and adaptable Phlebotomist who enjoys working with patients, values teamwork and is looking to broaden their experience across a busy metropolitan laboratory network.

Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

- Demonstrated experience or ability to acquire experience in the correct procedures of Specimen Collection/phlebotomy including the application of established policies and guidelines with minimal supervision.

- Demonstrated knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of the importance of standard precautions in dealing with patients and biological specimens.

- Proven ability to follow instructions and work conscientiously and accurately with minimal supervision after careful instruction.

- Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team and to communicate effectively with clients, clinical staff and colleagues

- Positive focus upon patient care within a hospital health care workplace.
- Demonstrate a high level of commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
