Dillicious is an Australian pickle and condiment company based in Cheltenham, and we're looking for a Pickle Maker / Food Production Worker to join our small production team.

This is a hands-on role making our pickles from start to finish. You'll work with fresh cucumbers, prepare ingredients and brines, operate production equipment, pack finished products and help keep production running smoothly.

We're a small business, so this isn't a job where you'll stand in one spot doing the same thing all day. Everyone gets involved.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing fresh cucumbers and other ingredients
- Making brines and following recipes
- Operating slicing, cutting and food production equipment
- Filling and packing buckets and jars
- Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately
- Following food safety and production procedures
- Cleaning and sanitising equipment and production areas
- Receiving and moving ingredients, packaging and finished stock
- Helping the team hit daily production targets
- Keeping accurate production records

Who we're looking for

You don't need to be an experienced pickle maker — we'll teach you that.

We're looking for someone who:

- Likes practical, hands-on work
- Is reliable and turns up when they say they will




- Works well as part of a small team
- Can follow recipes, measurements and written procedures
- Pays attention to detail
- Is comfortable working around food production equipment
- Can handle the physical side of food production, including lifting and moving buckets and ingredients
- Takes cleanliness and food safety seriously

Experience in food manufacturing, kitchens, warehousing, produce, brewing or similar production work would be useful, but it isn't required.

We started Dillicious in 2018 because we wanted to make the kind of fresh, deli-style pickles we couldn't find in Australia.

Today we make pickles and condiments in Cheltenham for restaurants, burger chains, distributors and retailers around Australia.

We're still a small team, which means you'll work directly with the people who own and run the business. We're growing, we're hands-on, and there is plenty of opportunity for the right person to take on more responsibility as the business grows.

Pay: $27.00 – $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
