We’re looking for a reliable, switched-on Kitchen Hand / Pizza Line Cook to join the team at The Knick.
We’re a busy neighbourhood pizza bar serving up classic and modern takes on pizza. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen and takes pride in putting out great food.
What you’ll be doing
- Working the pizza line during service
- Preparing and topping pizzas to our recipes and standards
- Basic food preparation and kitchen duties
- Assisting with dishes, cleaning and keeping the kitchen organised
- Helping with prep before service and pack-down afterwards
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly
What we’re looking for
- Previous kitchen, pizza or hospitality experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Able to follow recipes, instructions and food safety requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
