We are seeking a reliable and energetic Casual Pizza Maker to join our kitchen team during our peak periods. In this casual role, your shifts will vary based on business needs, primarily covering busy Friday and Saturday nights, weekends, and public holidays. You will be responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, tossing dough, and baking high-quality pizzas to order while maintaining a clean, efficient workstation.Key Responsibilities

- Food Preparation: Wash, chop, and prep toppings; prepare sauces and portion cheese according to recipe standards.

- Pizza Making: Roll, stretch, or toss dough, apply toppings consistently, and manage multiple orders simultaneously under pressure.

- Oven Management: Load, rotate, and unload pizzas safely, ensuring even cooking and a perfect crust.

- Station Maintenance: Set up, restock, and clean your designated station before, during, and after service.

- Hygiene & Safety: Follow all food hygiene, sanitisation,



and workplace health and safety protocols.

Requirements & Skills

- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen, pizzeria, or quick-casual food environment is highly regarded but not essential if you have a strong work ethic.

- Availability: High flexibility to work casual shifts, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holiday periods.

- Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure during intense dinner rushes.

- Physical Fitness: Capacity to stand for the duration of a shift, move quickly in a hot kitchen environment, and lift up to 10–15 kg (such as bags of flour or sauce buckets).

- Teamwork: Strong communication skills to work seamlessly with front-of-house staff and other kitchen crew.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
