Job Description THE WESTGOLD OFFER

Full time, permanent position based at our Beta Hunt site or Tuckabianna site.

Remuneration includes base salary + site allowance + wellbeing allowance + up to 15% STI bonus + Superannuation

Variety of roster options to suit your lifestyle:

8:6–7:7 – 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off flying in and out on Tuesdays to Beta Hunt

14:7 – 14 days on, 7 days off flying in and out on Wednesdays to Tuckabianna

Flexible employment options including FIFO, DIDO, and residential opportunities in Kambalda, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra & Cue – choose what works best for you!

THE ROLE

Provide prompt and effective light vehicle maintenance support to our underground gold mines

Evaluate vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose problems

Review vehicle computer and electronic systems for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades

Carry out regular maintenance activities to improve vehicle performance and lifespan

Adhere to maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mine operations

Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required

WHAT DO I NEED

Current "C" Class Manual Western Australian driver's licence

Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences

Experience within a mining or heavy industry environment

Quality workmanship with excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills





Desire to maintain a proactive safe working setting

Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite

Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)

Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable

Excellent communication skills with a can-do, team-oriented attitude

Strong desire to maintain and promote a proactive safe working environment
