About the Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll work closely with finance, operations and leadership teams to provide the insights that support business performance and commercial decision-making.

This role is well suited to someone who has built a solid foundation in management accounting, financial accounting or public practice and is keen to broaden their commercial exposure. You'll continue to develop your technical skills while gaining hands-on involvement in financial modelling, pricing, tenders, business cases, contracts and strategic projects.

Responsibilities include

Supporting month-end reporting and management accounting activities

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and planning processes

Building financial models,



pricing reviews and business cases

Analysing costs, profitability and operational performance

Supporting tender submissions and new business opportunities

Preparing reports, presentations and recommendations for key stakeholders

Managing customer invoicing and reporting requirements

Supporting contract administration and customer review processes

Partnering with stakeholders across finance, operations and leadership teams

The role is based on city fringes , with occasional travel to operational sites.

About You You might be an Assistant Accountant, Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or a first mover from public practice looking for a role that offers broader exposure and a pathway into commercial finance.

You're CA/CPA qualified, or currently studying, and have developed a strong grounding in accounting, reporting and analysis. More importantly, you're someone who wants to understand the "why" behind the numbers and build a career adding value to the broader business.

You'll bring:

A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business

CA/CPA qualification or current studies

Experience in month-end accounting, management reporting, budgeting or financial analysis

Strong Excel and analytical skills





An interest in financial modelling and commercial analysis

Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business

A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership

Most importantly, you're ambitious, commercially curious and hungry to learn. You enjoy solving problems, asking questions and finding ways to improve outcomes.
