We are experiencing significant customer demand and are now seeking a reliable and motivated, entry‑level product assembler to join our Ipswich based team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, values safety and structure, and wants to build real skills in fitting and assembly within a stable manufacturing environment.
(Experience with hand and powers tools is required)
What you’ll be doing:
Assisting qualified fitters and production staff with fitting and assembly tasks
Preparing components, parts, and materials for assembly
Using basic hand and power tools safely and correctly
Following clear, step‑by‑step instructions and work procedures
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
Learning King Bars’ fitting standards, safety systems, and quality expectations
This is a supervised,
entry‑level role focused on learning, reliability, and doing the job right the first time.
What we’re looking for:
Valid driver’s licence and ability to commute to Ipswich
Completed High School Certificate (or equivalent)
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong listening skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Clean health and police record
Ability to provide work and personal references
Previous fitting, mechanical, or workshop experience is helpful but not essential. Attitude, reliability, and safety awareness matter most.
