The business has been operating for many years and supplies technical equipment and solutions across a range of commercial and industrial sectors.

About the role We are looking for an Accountant to take ownership of the day to day accounting function.

Reporting directly to the COO, this is a hands on position covering the full range of business as usual accounting responsibilities, while also providing Management with accurate financial reporting and commercial information.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

General ledger management and reconciliations

Month end and year end processes

Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations

Invoicing and debtor management

BAS, GST and other statutory reporting

Weekly payroll for approximately 20 employees

The business uses Pronto,



or a similar ERP system experience will be highly regarded

About you We are looking for an experienced Accountant who enjoys being hands on and taking ownership.

CPA qualification or be working towards CPA

Solid experience across AR, AP and general ledger

Payroll experience, ideally for a small to medium sized workforce

Experience with BAS, GST and financial reporting

Strong reconciliation and financial accounting skills

Full Australian working rights

Availability to commence ASAP
