Builders Labourer / Truck Driver

Lawnton, Brisbane QLD Labourers (Trades & Services) Full time $29 – $34 per hour

Hoek Modular Homes is a family-owned and operated residential builder based in Lawnton, Queensland.

n

Specialising in delivering quality Class 1A homes along with Prefabricated Modular Homes, and Granny Flats using primarily using Elevated Floor Construction.

n

We are currently looking for a Labourer / Driver to join our growing construction team on a full-time basis.

n

About the Role

n

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, is reliable, practical and takes pride in getting the job done properly.

n

Working alongside our construction team, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- General builders labouring duties
n
- Delivery work, including hand carrying and unloading materials
n
- Loading and unloading trucks
n
- Stock movement and organisation within our factory and yard
n
- Site clean‐ups and general site labouring
n
- Assisting trades, supervisors and the wider construction team
n
- House splitting and preparation of modular homes for transport — full training provided
n
- General yard, factory and maintenance duties
n
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised and safe
n
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who has:

n

n
- Previous experience within the building or construction industry is preferred
n
- A current MANUAL Australian Open Driver's Licence
n
- A current HR Truck Licence
n
- A current Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one
n




- Construction Industry White Card
n
- The physical fitness required to undertake manual and labour‐intensive work
n
- Experience and adherence with WPHS
n
- Own basic hand tools
n
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Strong work ethic and reliability
n
- Pride in their work and attention to detail
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
