The Opportunity

n

Appoint is seeking a Building Designer, Architectural Designer, Architectural Draftsperson or Design Coordinator to join this Brisbane team.

n

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll develop concepts, layouts and design documentation for remote workforce accommodation projects, working closely with the wider project team.

n

This hands-on role covers design, drafting, consultant coordination, tender support and documentation, giving you the opportunity to contribute from concept through to delivery.

Duties

n

n
- Develop workforce accommodation concepts, camp configurations, village layouts and supporting infrastructure plans
n
- Prepare concept plans, site layouts and design documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
n
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers and project teams throughout the design process
n
- Review drawings, specifications and consultant documentation for accuracy, compliance and completeness
n
- Support tenders and project delivery through design reviews, technical information, walkthroughs, design registers and change management
n

Skills and Experience

n





n
- A tertiary qualification in architecture, design, building design or a related discipline
n
- Experience across commercial or residential building design, architectural draughting or design coordination
n
- Advanced capability using Revit and AutoCAD
n
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
n
- Demonstrated experience developing layouts and design documentation
n

Experience across modular construction, accommodation facilities, camps or infrastructure-led projects would be particularly valuable.
