The Role

Depending on your experience, you may work across construction/contract plumbing, general plumbing maintenance, or a combination of both.

Key duties may include:

- General commercial and construction plumbing

- Ground and above-ground plumbing works

- Plumbing installation on new-build and construction projects

- Service, maintenance and repair work

- Water supply and drainage systems

- Working with copper, cross-linked polyethylene and polyethylene pipework

- DWV and drainage work

- Gas fitting

- Cutting, bending, joining, soldering and brazing pipework

- Pressure and water testing

- Diagnosing plumbing faults and completing repairs

- Reading plans and working to project requirements

- Accurately recording completed works

- Communicating professionally with clients, supervisors and other trades

For experienced candidates with the right capabilities,



there is potential to progress into a 2IC or project lead position once you have established yourself within the business.

Key Requirements

We are looking for experienced tradespeople – this is not a junior or entry-level plumbing position.

Ideally, you will have:

- Formal trade qualifications in plumbing

- Strong hands-on experience as a qualified Plumber

- Experience in construction/contract plumbing and/or maintenance plumbing

- Strong knowledge of water, drainage and pipework systems

- Experience with copper, cross-linked poly, polyethylene and DWV

- Gas fitting experience highly regarded

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good spoken and written English

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A current driver's licence
- A genuine willingness to relocate to regional Victoria, Australia for a long-term position

A positive Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) / skills assessment for the occupation of Plumber is highly desirable. Candidates who do not yet hold an OTSR must be eligible to obtain one. Please indicate your current skills assessment status in your application.
