2–3 Days Per Week | Subcontractor Opportunity | Potential to Grow to Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Plumber / Plumbing Subcontractor to join our growing team, servicing Melbourne’s northern and north-eastern suburbs.
This is an ideal opportunity for a plumber who already operates as a subcontractor or has their own business and is looking for consistent additional work 2–3 days per week.
As our workload grows, there is the potential for the role to develop into full-time work within the next 6–12 months.
About the Opportunity
You will work independently across a range of plumbing jobs, representing our business professionally while providing high-quality service to our customers.
Work may include
- General plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Residential plumbing
- Property maintenance
- Bathroom and kitchen plumbing
- Hot water services
- Blocked drains and drainage
- Leaking pipes, taps and fixtures
- Renovation work
- Installation and replacement work
- General maintenance and service calls
- Other plumbing work suited to your skills and experience
What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is:
- A Registered or Licensed Plumber in Victoria
- Experienced and confident working independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional when dealing with customers
- Able to communicate clearly with customers and our team
- Committed to quality workmanship
- Able to manage jobs efficiently
- Looking for an ongoing working relationship rather than occasional one-off work
You do not need to be a Licensed Plumber – Registered Plumbers are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Need
As this is a subcontractor position, you will need:
- Current Victorian plumbing registration or licence applicable to the work undertaken
- Your own work vehicle/truck
- Your own tools and equipment
- Current ABN
- Appropriate insurances
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to service Melbourne's northern and north-eastern suburbs
Hours & Availability Initially, we are looking for someone available approximately 2–3 days per week.
We are looking to build a long-term relationship with the right person, and as the business and workload continue to grow, there is the possibility of increasing to full-time work within approximately 6–12 months.
This could suit an established subcontractor looking to fill a couple of days each week or someone looking to gradually build towards a more consistent workload.
