Plumbing Project Manager

Salary: $140,000 + Vehicle

We are currently looking for an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of a range of commercial plumbing projects within the Tier 2-3 construction market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys being involved in the delivery of projects from start to finish, while working within a supportive and well-structured team environment.

You will be responsible for managing projects ranging from $200K – $600K, working closely with another Project Manager, Construction Manager and Project Administrator to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

As a Plumbing Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Managing commercial plumbing projects valued between $200K – $600K.
- Taking ownership of projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
- Managing project budgets, programmes, procurement, variations and progress claims.
- Coordinating with builders, clients, consultants, suppliers and other trades.
- Planning and coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors.
- Working closely with the Construction Manager and Project Administrator to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Leading and coordinating a team of approximately 30 plumbers, shared across two Project Managers.
- Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and programme.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Managing variations and identifying opportunities to maximise project outcomes.




- Conducting regular site visits and ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Resolving project issues and coordinating solutions with the construction team.
- Managing testing, commissioning, defects and final project handover.

About You We are looking for an experienced plumbing professional who can confidently manage commercial projects and lead a team.

You will ideally have

- Previous experience as a Plumbing Project Manager or in a similar senior plumbing role.
- Experience managing projects in the $200K – $600K range.
- Solid commercial plumbing and construction knowledge.
- Experience working within the Tier 2-3 construction market.
- Strong understanding of project budgets, variations, procurement and programming.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to manage and coordinate trades effectively.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to project delivery, quality and safety.
- Relevant plumbing qualifications and industry experience.
