About the role

Sunraysia Podiatry Services is seeking a Podiatrist - New Graduates encouraged to join our team in Mildura, VIC. Our practice is built on patient-centred care, clinical excellence, collaboration, and a genuinely supportive team culture that provides flexible work arrangments and financial support to allow you to develop your skills and access training.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking detailed histories and performing thorough lower limb and foot examinations
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for patients with various podiatric conditions
- Provide routine podiatric treatments including nail care, corns, calluses, and other foot pathologies
- Manage patients with diabetes, vascular disease, and other complex medical conditions requiring specialist foot care
- Prescribe and advise on orthotic devices and appropriate footwear solutions
- Educate patients on foot health, preventative care, and self-management strategies
- Maintain accurate, detailed and timely patient records in compliance with professional standards and legislation
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
- Contribute to a culture of continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and infection control protocols

About you

- Recently completed Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
- Current or pending registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)




- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to explain complex information in an accessible way to patients
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach to podiatric care
- Ability to work independently whilst seeking guidance when appropriate and contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple patients effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records
- Professional demeanour and commitment to upholding the highest standards of podiatric practice
- Willingness to engage in continuing professional development and stay current with podiatric advances
