XENON is growing its AI Factory capability — designing and delivering the compute, storage, networking and software platforms that power our customers’ AI and HPC workloads.

We’re looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect (HPC/AI) to join our presales team and help shape technical solutions for customers building AI infrastructure, from GPU compute clusters through to full AI Factory reference architectures.

This is a hands-on technical role for someone who enjoys translating customer requirements and business problems into practical, well-architected solutions. You will work closely with customers, XENON’s presales and engineering teams, technology partners and vendors, progressively taking ownership of technical solution development across suitable opportunities.

The role provides an opportunity to build deep expertise in one of the fastest-moving areas of enterprise technology while contributing directly to how XENON develops and scales its AI Factory solution capability.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Design and contribute to HPC and AI Factory architectures covering compute, GPU infrastructure, storage, networking and software platform components.

- Translate customer requirements and use cases into technical solution designs and progressively take ownership of solution development for suitable opportunities.

- Participate in customer discovery sessions, presales meetings and internal technical discussions to understand workloads, technical requirements, constraints and desired outcomes.

- Develop technical diagrams, architecture documents, solution proposals and other customer-facing presales materials.

- Contribute to proposals, tenders, bills of materials, technical validation, vendor engagement and solution handover to delivery teams.

- Analyse performance, scalability, capacity and infrastructure requirements for AI and HPC workloads.

- Research and evaluate emerging AI infrastructure technologies, including GPUs, accelerators, AI platforms,



software stacks and reference architectures.

- Support proof-of-concept planning, technical validation, testing and documentation where required.

- Work with technology partners and vendors to validate solution architectures, configurations and commercial inputs.

- Develop and maintain reusable presales architectures, templates, technical content and solution assets.

- Help identify and implement automation, AI and agentic tooling that can improve the speed, consistency, quality and repeatability of presales activities.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of XENON’s AI Factory presales methodology, tools and technical standards.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

- Practical working knowledge of enterprise compute, storage and networking technologies, with exposure to HPC, GPU infrastructure, cloud, virtualisation or data-centre environments highly regarded.

- Strong interest in AI infrastructure technologies, including GPUs and accelerators, AI/ML platforms, software stacks and reference architectures, together with a willingness to develop deep technical expertise in this area.

- Ability to translate technical requirements into structured solution designs and explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical diagrams, architecture documentation and customer-facing materials.

- Analytical mindset, comfortable working through performance,



scalability, capacity and infrastructure considerations.

- Commercial awareness and an understanding that technical architecture forms part of a broader customer, proposal, procurement and delivery process.

- Cooperative working style, comfortable engaging with customers, sales teams, engineers, technology partners and vendors.

- Experience in presales, solution architecture, systems engineering, technical consulting or enterprise infrastructure is highly regarded. Strong technical candidates with relevant infrastructure experience who are looking to develop further into solution architecture and presales will also be considered.

- An interest in using automation and emerging AI tools to improve technical and presales workflows would be advantageous.
