An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated Education Assistant to join our team to support students with additional needs in a full time or part-time capacity. Placing students at the heart of everything we do, the successful candidate will be committed to ‘Cura Personalis’: care for the whole person in support of educational best practice.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Ability to model the Catholic and Ignatian tradition of the College through interactions with students, staff and parents.
- Appropriate qualifications relevant to school based educational support.
- Experience and good understanding of effective inclusive education practices.
- Demonstrated ability to be calm, flexible and adaptable under pressure.
- Demonstrated collaborative, warm and engaging manner when working with others.
- Demonstrated respectful and inclusive approach when working with students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hold Certificate III in Education Support
- Desirable Certificate IV in Education Support
Applicants must actively support and promote the ethos of the College and have all the required accreditation necessary through Catholic Education Western Australia.
